the helpful helpdesk ™

a community interest company

Well done - you made it

Sit down and relax - all your problems have solutions it is just that you have not found them yet. That's where we come in. The Helpful Helpdesk™ is a problem solving service for small charities, voluntary and community groups.

Do we have to pay for this service?

Yes. The Helpful Helpdesk™ is a Community Interest Company and does not receive grants or other funding to provide free services. We trade and hope to make a profit. One of our aims is to use some of our surplus to fund free services to to organisations who have no fulltime staff.

There are many other organisations funded by grants that deliver advice and service to the sector but we are not one of them. We do not signpost, promote networks, produce toolkits, conduct mapping studies or many other funded activities.

We are here to work with you to solve your immediate needs to get that website fixed, produce that newsletter, design that survey, organise that conference or anything else you care to throw at us.

So how does it work?

The Helpful Helpdesk™ only works with members. Membership is free and entitles you to access our services at the community rate. To become a member of the Helpful Helpdesk™ you need to complete our registration. It is expected that the registration system will be available in early December 2009 to allow for the installation of new services. Until then if you join our mailing list we will keep you informed of developments.
